Thanks for putting on a great event!! Had a great time, met some new members there and saw some great cars. Really surprised to see double vision identical 68 Hemi Darts Couple of members won in their class and they can jump in - congrats to all the winners As far as my performance lets just say the car did it's job but the idiot behind the wheel just sucked .... Hemi showdown was fantastic ---- Had quite a few real nice show cars there and also was surprised at all of the spectators in the stands!!! Also thanks to the PRP team for the upgrades to the track since I was there last and also to the PRP team for giving us a good track to run on - they did a real nice job. Russ

Want to thank Bob for putting on a great event!!! Plenty of racing as there was a full event on Saturday as well as a full race on Sunday! My son Casey wheeled the Whompin Wedge to the winners circle both days in the Max Wedge class! Already looking forward to next year. This has always been our favorite event. Poppaj

It turned out to be a great weekend, the racing was terrific. On behalf of Bud's Auto Sales I want to thank everyone who participated in the Hemi Showdown on Saturday evening...everyone seemed to enjoy it and it turned out to be a good show.
One of the absolute highlights is the "generation race" on Father's Day morning....dads vs sons; dads vs daughters; sisters vs brothers etc; all in fun and as a dad it creates memories that I will take to my grave with me. A great touch, and Bob G is responsible for this, was the photog coming through the lanes and taking pics of the generations before the race. I cannot wait to get mine!
It was a first class event, run by first class folks! Absolutely first class. I'm proud to have been involved.

I’d like to give a thank you to Bud’s Auto for sponsoring the Shootout and catering the food on Saturday. And specifically Kyle Reasbeck for picking up the food and doing all the “traffic cop” duties for the weekend, unfortunately it cut into some of his racing time.
I will say I really liked the Showdown format, hopefully it catches on!
This post is available in double vision where drunk.

It was the first time for me at the Curt George classic, and I thought it was a great race, I'd like to thank Bob and all others that helped put it on, great race, with a great meaning to lots of the racers who attended. From what I heard about Curt George at the race, its a great loss, but seems to me he was a chip off the old block, I'd sure like to thank Bob and all his associates who assisted, also met several memebers there and look foward to seeing all you again at some races in the future. Again thanks to all

It had been a couple years since I was at PRP. That place just keeps getting nicer and nicer. Thanks Tedescos.

Thanks Bob for great event,it was good to be able to spend some time with you. We had a blast pounding the BGR prepared Cuda and as always it ran flawlessly. (I just point and shoot)now if I can just get the weak link behind the wheel (me)worked out I'll have it made. And thanks to PRP for a great place to race.
