The passenger side rear window in my 1969 Coronet convertible has never worked properly as long as I have had the car. This caused the glass to work loose and eventually cause the stainless trim piece on the front edge of the window to crack and break off.

I scored another window frame at the Nats a year or two ago for it. Back in March when we had the warm weather I decided that it was time to fix it.

After a long fight it finally came out. Then the cold weather returned and the honey-do list took precedence over fixing the car.

Now, nearly 3 months later, I cannot recall how it all fit together.

I am in need of a good factory engineering drawing of the window and track assembly and/or some realy good detailed photos.

I also found what I believe to be the cause of the original problem, one of the rollers was broken and was lying in the bottom of the quarter panel. It's absence allowed the window to tilt to far forward as it was rolled up and down eventually breaking off the stainless trim.

Anyone know of a good source for the roller?

I have most of the pieces but cannot find the stud and the spring metal piece that appears to keep roller tension on the track.

This is my best guess at how it should all fit together. Am I on the right path?

Your welcome.

When I first posted the pic I was puzzled why it was smaller than the original. I found out that photobucket has default maximum size settings for uploading. I changed it so the pic is larger now, easier for reading and/or printing. So thanks to your question, I learned something new today.

Good luck, no repops only originals and most of them are broken or loose and worn. DAMHIK

That's what I was afraid of.

I have most of the pieces, looks like I need to make friends with a machinist to fabricate the pin and spring metal part.

The same part was used in a number of applications including C bodies...

Any idea of which years I should be looking at?

Thanks
