dogdays I Live Here D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 16,376	The size of tubing is always OD. I wouldn't get worried about the fact that the ID is smaller than that. A rule of thumb for fuel use is 0.5 lb fuel per horsepower hour. So if you have a 400 hp engine on the dyno it will burn about 200 lb fuel per hour. Gasoline is around 7 lb per gallon so that's about 19 gallons per hour at max output. I think the tubing will allow that with minimal pressure drop. R.
