PHJ426 OP master P Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 3,456 Fly Over States	Why would B&M suggest the trans cooler have the 1/2" inlet and outlets either be position the top or on the side but not on the bottom when installing the cooler in the car? Any ideas on this?

rebel master Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 4,647 aotearoa	i agree on the air lock issue as i think this was my problem for a season or two til i swapped my hoses around. on some runs the temp on the trans would be high 220+ & other runs later in the day it would be lower 180ish. i had inadvertedly plumbed it in the bottom & out the top, so i changed it around to the opposite & now it stays the same, always under 200*.

PHJ426 OP master P Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 3,456 Fly Over States	l didn't open up the directions until I was done either. For now the inlet and outlet are both at the bottom. I would think the hydraulic system in the trand isn't there a vent in the trans?

jamesc master J Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 5,875 communist bloc of new jersey	man this is just TOO funny cause i've been right there losing that 50-50 shot, these days i look at the directions for a hammer. it's really bad when you open a box with the most basic piece that you think wouldn't even have directions with it so you toss them only to find out you installed it wrong when you could have handed it to ANYONE and they had 50-50 chance of getting it right sorry you got it wrong but it did make me smile knowing i wasn't alone
