Not DOT legal, Very soft, just like the Hoosier. Stick with the standard ET Street or ET street Radial.

I drive my truck with et street radials a lot on the street but you do not want to get caught in the rain with them and I'd guess those would be worse. I now drive to the track on a set of street tires because when on the way to the mopar nationals a few yeas ago I got about 2ft side ways at 60mph in a rain shower.

A stick car needs a bias ply tire.

i just dont see the point in drag radial anymore. just run on radial slicks, thats what they are now. d.o.t. approved is a joke as well.

This I know, but Im trying to find a happy medium. I hate how the Bias tire drives on the street, and I also hate having to swap tires at the track. Dont really want to buy a different pair of rims for the track. Ive said it before its mostly a street car anyways.

I have a set of M/T 275s that you can try for free. That will let you know how a radial is going to work with a stick.

I would run a hoosier drag radial over the mickey. It has a softer sidewall like a bias tire compared to a mickey. The 275 hoosier is a great tire and can handle a lot of power.

It is basically just a radial slick, but there is a better selection of tire sizes in the DOT stuff. The DOT rating is a joke, but legality is legality, I don't have to worry about being illegal driving around and I can still hook the car at the track.
