Are 71-72 body floor pans the same as 73-74? I thought they were different, but I see auctions on eBay that shows them the same. Can anybody clear this up for me?

I had a 71 RR for 25 years and a 73 SSP for 2 years and I never saw any difference..

Yes, won't be correct but will fit. Actually my 68-74 factory crash parts book shows one replacement pan for all 70/4E and 71/4B. Which leads to your next question. Big differance on the 70E is the sides that weld to the rocker. 70E pan has a 90* flange that welds to side of the rocker. 71/4 pans don't have that flange and they sit on top of a ledge that is molded into the side of the rocker.
That being said I don't how the one replacement pan will fit a 70E.
Sorry don't have any pics of a 70E pan. Lost in my crashed hard drive.
