GaryFusey OP member G Joined: May 2012 Posts: 4 Missouri, USA	Rebuilding an AVS 4966S - What, if anything, holds the inlet screen in place? The service manual mentions a spring for the sintered bronze element, but nothing about the screen-type filter. The screen seems to slip pretty easily in and out of the inlet fitting... having a hard time believing that mere friction will keep it in place. Is there a stop built into the air horn casting that I'm not seeing? Not missing any parts according to the exploded views I've seen.

62maxwgn master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 9,436 Blair County,PA	In it's origional configuration the screen was a snug fit into the back side of the inlet fittihg,nothing more.If it is deformed You can expand it enough to do the same thing.
