Hey Guys,

Just curious....about vacume pump pickup location's on a Hemi...
Got a Hemi...Stage 5 milenium head with the T&D (Ray Barton) rocker setup...

Im picking up alot of oil in my catch can...pretty sure its am inlet location problem...those T&D spray bars do a great job of oiling but are a pain with this....

Anybody else with the same combo? Curious as to where you put your bung for the pickup to avoid excessive oil problems..

Thanks guys...(and gals!)

Mine is on top the valve cover b/t the #1 and #3 intake rockers. Doesn't pick up a lot of oil there. I have standard oiling though, no spray bars.

when first installed mine was one the front of the valve cover using Reheer-Morrison baffle/. Blew oil all over the motor and car.15" was too much for a single Changed to double lines all OK now.

Somebody else told me that today as well...makes sence...same vacume signal but 1/2 the velocity..got things apart now and changing things around...

Mine did the same thing...blew oil everywhere at about the 800 ft mark...got under the tires...other than a half hour track cleanup and ruining a perfectly good pair of underware...no damage done..scary ride!

Well here is a pic from when we had an old school Hemi in the Barracuda. Drivers side valvecover and relief is on the pass side. I have since put ALL my relief valves on the pump itself.

about the same as mine did.
at first I thought it was the baffel turned upside down with opening facing upwards. So I flipped it then took the car to the dyno made 3 pulls. not a single drop of oil leaking anywhere. next day went to Maple Grove and oil again. By now it was pretty evident that the one thing we could not duplicate on the dyno was deceleration.
