Could you post a picture of what a tuff wheel looks like?

Images for most steering wheels available by model & model year can be found in the data books. See the index at http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/library.shtml to look them up.

Not well known, but you could get them on Cordobas too. That's also a B-body, well for a while, which many don't know.

Any particular reason why they weren't on E-bodies?

I was going to buy the aftermarket 14" one from Classic Industries for my 70, anything i need to know about swapping one on?

My 72 Roadrunner had one.

Barry do you have any materials calling out the Rim Blow for A-body cars? I know they were available but don't see them on that option list.

I've only ever seen them on 71 swigwers

i had a 70 swinger that had one , still have the wheel .

Some guy at last weeks Mopar show was saying that they did not come out on any car till '76. That is a steaming pile of bs.

They were (somewhat) common on a bodies. If you had the tuff wheel, you had to get power steering with it. The brochure for the Dodge Demon shows them being available as an option. Most common car I've seen them equipped on is a Dart.

I have an '81 crewcab with one. Ex-Alberta Transportation truck-plain as can be, even radio-delete. Why this particular truck came with one is beyond me.

Thats strange

I know-I would have expected the Omni-style one, and I'm 99% sure nobody swapped it in there seeing as they couldn't be bothered installing a radio! The foam is unbonded from the spokes itself now-I was going to use it in my Charger, but it needs too much love I think.

An '06 3500 QC 4x4 Laramie CTD with a 6.7 named "Frankentruck", an '80 W200 CC 440/435 yard truck, a Dakota, a Hemi Ram, and a bunch of projects....still working on resurrecting my '74 Charger after a 25 year hiatus for a "quick paint job"! Now a '78 D150 shortbox factory 440 to keep me occupied.
