I noticed today that I have a couple millimeters of space in between my K-frame and the driver's side strut rod bushing:

Does this mean I just need to replace my strut rod bushings? Should I snug up the nut a little in the meantime? The passenger side doesn't have this same gap to it.

I would replace it if there is visible cracking. If it is intact and has some give to it, I'd snug up the nut and drive it. It may need to be REaligned though, since this rod locates the lower control arm.
