You guys keep working on me maybe we will drag a car up for the race next year. At least the small tire car can attempt B gas maybe. In that air we will might be able to go 8.0

guy I know up in SoDak was putting together a Mirada for his kid. They put a small block in it and blew it up. Decided to go big block and he was calling quite a bit asking for tips. Finally came down to the "why don't you just buy mine" conversation. Basically sold it to him as a "running roller"..... was very up front about how old/worn out the short block was, but with all the the other work done to the car it was still a very good deal for a car that just ran a string of 9.93-9.97 passes. Dropped the car off at MaTS and a guy hauled it back up for him. 28 years I'd had that ride. Timing just worked. My dad isn't getting any younger and had talked of leaving the Duster down here. We decided at Bakersfield that we'd most likely sell the Mirada and keep the Duster so it all worked out. The Duster is down here, actually at Comp Chassis still getting a full cage and tube K member/coil over treatment. Engine..... not sure what were going to do. We have our old low 11 360 still and will most likely throw some rings in it and run it till we can piece together something more stout. Damaged alot of stuff when our 416 let go

Wow thats kind of a shocker. So I guess I will be seeing the Mirada up here this summer.

Yeah Thad.... the Mirada got to move back to SoDak. Always thought we'd make that trek together. Always been a fan of small block A bodies so the Duster stayed in the family. Now if we can just make it run hard and be as reliable without moving the distributer up to the front we'll be set! Stroker B engine not out of the question....

btw you gotta get that digger out to Bakersfield someday! Fergen made the pull from Brookings. Was good to see him and Daryl.
