Oh
I am wondering what the best route would be for my 36 ply coupe project. Trying to start planning it's future build.
I want an independent front end, (mustang 2 style) and I will have the car tubbed out for some big tires.

What I want to know is am I going to save a good amount $$ using my old frame (it's in Good shape)and modifying it or would I be better off getting a all NEW frame built???

Who is a Good source to see about having a frame made??
I can't afford the big name shops like S&W or Morrison etc.
There is a place I checked into by Cleveland I think and they said 8,000 complete rolling suspension built for my 36 and like I want.
IS That a GOOD Price???

Any info or places to contact would be Appreciated.
p.s. I don't care if it's round tube or square tube.
I plan to street drive and race it when the car gets done.
David

If you intend on racing it when its done, have a new frame built. Don't over look anyone until you get a price and know whats included. Sometimes the known name builders cost about the same as hacks. Gene

Although it has been since 97, I didn't pay big $ for this Morrison frame and front suspension. I would have to look up the receipts to say for sure, but it wasn't that bad. Then I had it trucked in from Wash. You could probably pick one up in Louisville at the Street Rod Nats.

David,
This is how it came. Well, I did bolt on the front A arms , and spindles for the picture. The down tubes came with it .
