I want one of these but I'll file down an old screwdriver before I spend 60 bucks!!!
Anybody know of a more reasonably priced one?
Googling didn't help.

Correct, Dr. Fiberglass has them for about half as much.

Haven't seen him around for a long time. Did he lose his library privileges???

I have a Miller one from Chrysler. It looks about the same as what Bill is selling.

I used to make them with a 3-4" long 1/4" nipple, 1/4" pipe tee and two short 1/4" nipples for the handle. Drill a hole in the tee for your thin blade screwdriver to go thru and file/grind the two bumps to fit the locking screw on the TQ air door.

Worked great at hardly any cost. Hardware store or McMaster-Carr will have the black iron pipe fittings.

I must be the only guy who never had trouble adjusting with just a pair of flat screwdrivers!

I spent good money to have Scott Smith restore mine.
I'm not about to muck it up because I'm too cheap to spend 15 bucks on the proper tool.
If you got an old TQ, yah, then I can see it.
