A couple months ago and with 185,000 miles, the wife sold her '05 Hemi Durango which served as my tow vehicle and left me with only a V-6 Dakota. After some bodywork help from 6bblFLASH, the Dakota was fixed up and sold which allowed me to get a new tow vehicle for this summer's racing season.
It's a '05 4x4 with the 4.7 V-8 with 90,000 miles. After a day spent cleaning because the original owner NEVER washed the truck in the 7 years he owned it. And another day spent buffing and waxing. And then some searching on Craig's list for different wheels and tires, I have a "looks like new" truck for only $9k.
Can't wait for Quaker to open so I can load up and go racing.
Only 90K??? It's just getting broke in!! I have a 2002 quad cab with the 4,7.I have always liked the truck and the 4.7 is a great engine.It tows very well and I get good fuel economy.I have 161,000 on mine and it's been trouble free.
