Well after sitting untouched for over 6 years I'm slowly making progress on my 71 R/T Challenger.
I've NEVER driven this car and I'm finally pushing myself to get it running and driving. Because of life's commitments wife, kids, house, etc. It's been a LONG time since I've had a chance to do real work on any of my cars and I'm definitely feeling my age and these E-body parts prices are definitely getting out of hand
I sent the car out to have the engine compartment stripped and re-painted. The body guy did an excellent job.. Us Ohio guys sure can appreciate a clean, rust free western car

It's definitely not going to be a perfect concourse restoration but it is a great improvement on what it looked like before.
A little more cleaning and I'll be
ready to install the 440 sixpack engine

This is good practice for the wife's R/T which is going off to get the same engine compartment treatment.

Just think...everytime you do something to the car...you are 1 step closer to getting it done.

Unless you are me. Then it's one step fwd and 2 steps back.
