I have three missions to complete...I want to replace my 906 heads with Edelbrocks. I also want to install my Hedman Shorty Headers instead of my HP manifolds. Lastly, I want to hook up the new exhaust pipes and install the electric cutouts and move my H-Pipe away from my GV overdrive.

I want to go about it tactfully. I am thinking to install the heads first with the stock exhaust system, that way if there are any abnormal noises such as lifters too tight, ticking, rapping...I'll be able to hear it with the HP Manifolds on.

Drive down to the exhaust shop and have him make the new pipes from mufflers to H-Pipe to cutouts, to exhaust manifold flange.

Drive her back home and install the Hedman Shorty's once I know there are no funny noises. Flatbed her back to the exhaust shop and have him make the small extension pipe from the exhaust cutout which bends up to the new collector flange.

Am I overthinking it? I am trying to go about the least amount of variables and issues.

Sticking with 2.5" Stainless Steel tubing. In the bends it stays 2.5" all the way through. I have 1/2" stainless flanges and RemFlex gaskets.

What say ye?
