Does anyone know if the 4.0L V6 crank/pistons/rods will interchange to the 3.5L V6 engine? They seem to be the same engine from the Allpar info, just a longer stroke (81mm to 91mm). I wished Chrysler had built a 4.0L V6 for the Challenger. I think all the 4.0L V6s went into the Pacificas. A little more torque would be nice for a heavy car.

Also, does anyone know how the short/long ram intake tuning works on the 3.5L V6? The diagrams show some sort of motor drive to switch modes, but I dont see anything inside the upper intake that changes the airflow?

You can drop in the rotateing assy if you have the crank mains turned down. The computer may get a little confused and not give the best performance but it is close enough to work, mabey get a slightly bigger injector.

Not real sure about the intake thing, I would have to look at one.
