I have some flex plates laying around and wanted to clarify what they were suited to.

I have two 8 bolt neutral balance flexplates, one is a B&M and the other is a Mopar Performance unit.
Are the Hemi and BBM 8 bolt flanges exactly the same?

The other flex plate is a B&M unit, it's a big block external balance unit. That is for a cast crank 440 I am assuming?

Thanks in advance!

Yes the 8 bolt fits 2nd gen hemis and big blocks that either have 2nd gen cranks or current 8 bolt aftermarket cranks designed to fit in B/RB blocks.

Mopar had 2 external balance big block weights , the 70-73 440 4bbl HP/70-72 6pk and then the Cast crank engines which are different so you need to know which that is .

The B&M flex plates have a part number, so I can look up their application.
Thanks for the reply John
