I have an6 fitting on my fuel cell, to 3/8in line up to the carb. Could i use an8 (1/2") dual line carb kit? Or would it cause any problems (besides finding the fittings)?

Tradionally you go from bigger from the tank to smaller along the way, my system is fed by a #10 from the tank to the pump, #8 from the pump to the regulator and then #6 to each bowl of the carb, or carbs DO NOT use a fine filter(less than 80 microns) between the tank and the pump I did and got lucky and didn't hurt any motor parts, I fixed it after seeing the problem with a wide ban showing the AFR going lean from the starting line to the finish line, I dodged a big bullet on that one Bigger is better, to a certian extent, on fuel supply and components Good luck I use a Magnafuel 275 pump and a 100 micron filter between the pump and the tank and a 10 micron filter between the pump and the regulator. My current motor(725 HP) is right at the top of the limits for that pump(rated up to 750 HP), I should have bought the 500 pump to start with Next car gets a 500 pump or bigger to start with
