I bled the brakes on my 73 Roadrunner and they seemed to stiffen up but brake fluid is overflowing out of the front chamber of the master cylinder. The lid seems pretty tight and it had a good gasket on it. I bought a new one anyway but same thing. Any suggestions on how to diagnose the issue?

thanks

I just replaced my master and had to "tweak" the wire rod that holds the lid on. I put it in a vice and compressed it a bit on the front to add more tension when pulling it over the lid. It stopped my leak.
