Yes, Wilwood has a kit to put disc brakes on drum brake spindles.

scaredbird makes a set too.
but be aware, they push the wheel out. so if your tires already fill the wheel well, it will go out past.

I have an AAJ kit on my 57 Plymouth. Check their website; they may also list a kit for newer cars.

It's Swifty! Swifty, you toad sucker!

I have $50.00 junk yard Bosch 2005 crown Vic rotors and calipers installed on the drum spindles and hubs.

I had brackets made from 3/8" thick 4140 moly steel. Brackets cost around 120.00 to build. Tim

I had the brackets water jetted at a local shop and I did the rest. They are going on a 68 Charger.

I have a smaller caliper setup that I didnt use so if anyone wants it, PM me for details. Tim

what bearings did you have to use to get the 2005 ford rotor to work on the 68 charger spindle?

It is using the stock B-body hubs with the crown vic rotors..you remove the drums from the hub, swap the wheel studs for longer ones and then slide on the crown vic rotors. I am going to use the Moroso 46180 wheel studs or allstar studs. Tim

I got some Vic rotors and calipers awhile back to attempt the same thing you’ve done (but on a C-body). I was hoping to use a Mopar floating single-piston caliper (’75-89 era) with M-body brackets + adapter and tuck it under a 15” wheel. That would hold the factory piston-bore balance but give me an extra .67” of rotor diameter. Overall, it was a no-go under a 15” rim, and it barely fits under the 16” Vic rim (and the adapter looks to be complex vs a flat plate). Neither the drum spindle nor disk spindle looked to be any easier as far as adapter plate.

So I switched horses to the Vic calipers and those look a lot easier, but not as clear-cut as yours.

So:
1. Is that the 12.42” rotor of the 98-02 Vic or the 12.02” rotor of 03-10? The smaller diameter should give more room but it is shallower and throws the caliper deeper into the rim and didn’t seem to give any more clearance for the caliper.

2. Looks like you're using 03-10 calipers? The smaller caliper setup you mentioned – what did it come from?

3. What dia wheels will you be using?
