Gull wing, go wing. Whats the differance?
What style for years 70 and up would a Duster or Dart have.

When I do a search on line they show a gull and go wing that looks the same.
Any pictures that show the differance?

Thanks!

Go Wing

Go wings came on 70's, gull wing's came on 71's. The gull wing is more swept back and sleek.

There's a bit of confusion on these because the 1970 style wing was also installed on the early 71 model year cars. The 1971 style wing was used during mid to later 1971 production. No solid cutoff date is known but I've seen the early wing installed on cars as late as December 1970 so at least some cars got them a good way into 1971 model year production.

Here is a 1970 Style on a 71 Demon

And a repeat of the post above showing 1971 style installed on a 71 Demon

Thanks for the responces.

The 71 style looks thinner and maybe a little shorter than the 70.
Is that true?
Was the 71 style used for all of the other years?

Thanks
