I'm begining to revive my old A 100 van and can't find the keys. I'd like to just replace all the locks with new ones.
Can anyone tell me where I can purchace sets (i.e. all doors and ignition)
thanks for any help,Dave

The style in the A-100s are the early cone style that are not able to be re-keyed. So you have a few choices:
Buy NOS sets that have 4 door locks and an ignition cylinder
Find a used set or 2 and have 1 or 2 keys
Swap to later flat style locks that can be re-keyed. This may require some mods. As you can see, the early shown have a stud, the late have a hole. I know that the arm on the back pops off easily if you aren't careful! You can also see the removable cover on the later one that allows the pins to be changed (re-keyed).
Here are pics I found with a quick search, and the sites that have them. NO inference made as to the sellers or prices.

Thanks for the reply- I had mix-matched locks before when the van was a daily driver and it had three or four keys for it and that is a pain.
NAPA has an ignition lock/keys for $30 but nothing for the doors so I could make it run that way but I was hoping to attempt to fix the thing right.
I guess my options are more limited than I was expecting.

Well, keep looking around.
The ignition cylinder is available new, and while it's not original, I don't mind a different ignition from the doors.
You could always install solenoids.
Have a couple of these on the side/rear doors...

I bought new ignition tumbler from a local locksmith and he ordered me new door tumbers too. He keyed them the same as my new ignition key. Took like 3 days for him to get them for me. This was in 2005.

I guess I"ll try the local locksmith but the last time I tried him he wanted $35 to make an ignition key (I had no key, just the switch). At that price I'd be looking at over $100 for a set for the van.

Well, I went to a local locksmith and he fixed me up! Although I have the older cone shaped doorlocks he was able to rekey all the locks and ignition switch to one common key.
This is basicly what I was trying to achive and the price was $55.25 and included 2 extra keys. Not bad.
I guess it pays to look at all options.
Thanks for all the replys, Dave

Glad it worked for you. The old school locksmith I tried, ended up destroying the early ones I gave him, and said it couldn't be done.
You found a good locksmith
