Like I said in an earlier post I am in the process of removing my fiberglass doors and installing steel doors. I started by removing the 10+ year old stripe on the car with a hairdryer and then started to remove the goo left on the paint. Goo gone usually works good for this job but I was out of it. I remembered buying a bottle of Goof Off at Harbor Freight about a year ago. I will probably get FLAMED for this but it not only removed the left over goo but also all the slick rubber from last year. The whole quarter panel took about 6 minutes to clean. I tested a small area before going crazy to make sure it didn't harm the paint. Just a heads up if you want to give it a try.

Oh
Bounce dryer sheets take off the rubber, bugs, and other misc stuff
stuck on the paint without any harm also, they work for mice repellant also in the cars during the winter.
Janet uses warm water and uses the dryer sheet as a rag, the rubber comes right off with no effort. I let her do my car also.
I will see about getting the extra uses for the bounce sheets and post it here.
Everybody has those in there house. Janet has been using them for 4 years so far on our cars.

Those dryer sheets also work great for controlling mildew and moisture, plus the mice smell good when they go to live somewhere else.
