Well finally got car to chassis dyno. It did not go as well as I had hoped. I have the FAST EZ EFI on my motor its a multiport system but using the EZ computer. My motor does not have enuff vaccum for this system to work properly. It uses a 1 BAR map and is showing 70-75 at idle. It uses a scale from 0-100 and 100 being no vaccum. So the computer thinks the motor is under load and is trying to add fuel. I moved the target rations way up in the 14.5 range at idle and part throttle and wide open at 13.5 to try and compensate for this but would still have AF readings all over the place. I got to run about half azz and made a couple pulls. It would start out lean then try and correct and end up rich at about 5500 RPM ending up in the 11.8-12.0 range at the end of the pull 6800 But the ONE good thing is this motor is making some steam even with a BAD tune. It made 580HP at 6800RPM on 93 ocatne at 24* timing with a pair of 3" mufflers hangin on the end of the headers By comparison My 422" W9 motor on the same dyno made 583HP at 7000RPM, and went a best of 9.63 @ 139MPH with a race weight at 3215.lbs So I am going to have to get with Mopar Rich to find out where we go from here with the EFI A quick rundown on the motor 426" its 11 to 1 compression Modern Cylinder CNC heads cam is .640 lift HYD roller 266 @.050 intake 271@.050 ex Just cant beleive a motor with stainless valves non adjustable rockers and a Hydraulic roller cam can make that kinda power on pump gas Oh and my car has a 727 and a Dana 60 rear he said around 25% correction factor so that would put it at about 725HP at the flywheel Thanks "itsallgood" for all your help today

Man that some good numbers. Can't wait to see what it makes with a good tune. Why so little timing?

Dang, that is getting it done. Nice job! Good luck with getting it tuned.
Technology is amazing, good and bad sometimes though
Interested in having you car wired? Drag car, street car, EFI swap?

Thanks for posting Rick. Interesting to see that it is keeping up with your W9 engine. OH and you won't have to adjust your rockers Matt Make that puppy run on 91 drop the rpm to 6500 and I THINK you just won the Engine Master challenge

Thanks Brian It weighed 3215 with the R block W9 motor the R block was 215lbs bare I have not weighed the car yet with the 3G HEMI in it but I have heard the engine should be lighter than a stock 340 block but dono.

Sounds good Rick. Let us know when you find out....I am still thinking about one for a future build with the aluminum block.

Wow....I like that combo already. It does sound like you have a vacuum leak though..I would take a look and see if you do. Post your detailed engine spec's if you don't mind. I would like to start collecting parts to build one of that caliber.

how are you controlling timing? I thought the EZ was fuel only?

You are correct, I am using MSD HEMI 6 box for the coil packs. Only way I could get the car to idle at all was to lock timing out at 24* from 1000RPM on up.
NO vaccum leaks either as I have put a carb on it and the motor purrs like a kitten

The nice thing about dynos, you can find these things out before you hit the track, sounds impressive so far and I am sure you will sort it out and get it running right, you better, we got some racin' to do, besides I can't wait to see this thing in person.
Light travels faster than the speed of sound,,,this is why some people seem bright untill you hear them speak.
