Hemi_Ram OP top fuel Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 1,739 Grand Forks, ND	Purchased a perfect 742 center from a MOPARTS member that I am going to insatall a posi unit in. Backlash from this untouched unot is a shade over .003" I know the manuals recommend .006-.008 Do I adjust this to specs or retain the original backlash. If it were me I would install it in a car and drive it BEFORE taking it apart , if you change the backlash it's going to whine and hopefully it can be driven enough to readjust the pattern and quiet it down.
