Check all your options...Take a look at the Quick-Fuel carbs...They're some nice units at a reasonable price...Lots of goodies on the street models only the high end or racing carbs have in the other brands..I've used them on the last two builds and am very happy with the tuneability/performance...

Someone mentioned the Quick Fuel Slayer 750 yesterday. It looks like a nice carb for $299.

Just ordered a 750 Slayer Quick Fuel carb. Going to install this weekend. Got an Eddy on it now and they suck with big cams. Idle circut is all vac. Big cams and vac don't go together. Does look like a nice carb for the price. A lot of features you only find on race carbs from the big names

why mess with it. Get another 750 DP or HP carb.

I have a 770 Street Avenger, expect to play with it as they're pretty lean out of the box.

Now I need to pin those needles, got to feel that heat
Hear my motor screamin while I'm tearin up the street

If your DP runs good buy your friend a new one or take notes on all the list numbers, jets, PV's, squirters, acc. pump cams, idle screw settings, etc so you can get close right away.
