I want to replace my mechanical fuel pump with another mechanical one, but got a little confused with so many listed-I don't believe I need a high volume pump as my 383 dart is just a mild + motor (trw flat tops-906 heads-comp 280H cam-RPM performer & edel 650 avs 3/8 fuel line -headers)
street driven with occasional blast thru the gears!!
Any recommendations appreciated.
Appreciate your help!!

Std. volume/pressure pump will be fine , hopefully it's rubber internal diaphragm is compatible with the ethanol in today's fuels.

It appears that the standard volume pump has a 5/16 permanent inlet fuel fitting though, at least in the 2 on line stores checked. Mine is a 3/8 replacement line

I have the same set up as you. I used this pump http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATX-4845/?rtype=10 and double clamped the inlet side. Works fine
