Where to start? After 5+ years of ownership, the car is ready to run as I want: take one pristine, low mile 1972 Plymouth Satellite, repaint in original B5, tear out the 318/904/8.25" drive train and replace with a 440/727/8.75" combination. Street rod done in the old style. And, yes, that's a 440 painted in '69-71 Hemi Street Orange sitting in a '72...my way.

I put the Satellite badge back on the grille. Yes, I have put on RR touches (bulge hood, blacked out grille and taillamps), but it says Satellite inside.

Details: 76 440 block, stock stroke forged crank, Diamond CUSTOM quench dome forged Pistons ... ~9.5 compression w/.040 piston to head clearance ... swinging on K1 H beam rods, Paul Rossi Street Fighter 452 heads further enhanced/ported by Porter Racing Heads including the open part of the chambers being equalized in depth and shape for use with quench dome pistons, Comp Cams CUSTOM grind by Dwayne Porter ... NITRIDED, induction is a Edelbrock Thunder 800 cfm w/electric choke on top of a Edelbrock CH4B intake, exhaling thru stock HP manifolds... port matched ... connected to a tti 2.5" exhaust w/H-pipe, MP electronic ignition fires the mixture. Power is transfered thru a 727 stuffed w/ CRT valve body, 3.8(4.2??)lever, A+A ulitmate sprag w/a factory hi-stall converter, out back is an 8.75 w/a 3.23 SG (clutch type), it's rolling on greasy B.F.
