I was looking for a set of replacment headlights for my '69 Charger, and long story short the conventional incandescent sealed beams apparently are no longer available from the local car parts stores. Oh they have halogen, but no original incandescent ones.

I've read the threads talking about going to halogens and if I understand correctly I'll be ok with my stock setup if I use halogen sealed beams with stock wattage ratings. Now my local dealer has Sylvania H5006 (hi/lo) that are rated for 35watts, which I understand is the original rating of the hi/lo incandescent beams. But what is the original rating for the hi beams? The corresponding Sylvania hi beams (H5001) are rated for 50 watts.

Thanks-
David

The Hi/Low,(outside) headlight is 35/55. The Inner High beam is 55.

Do the headlight relay bypass and bigger grounds all around.
