A friend is restoring a 1972 Basin Blue 340 'Cuda.
He is trying to figure out the correct way to paint the trunk area.
I assume the entire trunk area would be painted body color including the inside of the quarter panels?

No other painted colors should be inside the trunk area correct?

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated, post pics of you got them.

Thanks.

Correct. Undercoating was sprayed on the inside of the quarter panels before they were welded to the car. The trunks were painted body color but coverage would have varied from car to car. There would have been areas that didn't recieve much if any paint. Under the filler panel, behind the tail panel and the X braces behind the rear seat would have had varying amounts of paint.
