JohnH OP mopar J Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 549 WV	Getting ready to install the heater box, and I was wondering about the black insulators on the heater core. Do you install the insulators on the core before you install the box or after the box is installed? They are pretty fat to go thru the firewall.

fastmark master F Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 6,433 Abilene, Texas	You install them on the heater core first. They seal to the inside of the cowl so water cannot pass around the heater core inlet and outlet.
