I'm doing a front drum to disc brake conversation on my 67 coronet. I have to rear hang the calipers due to sway bar interference. I have the banjo style calipers. Anyone used a brake hose from the parts store that works good for this? Which vehicle did it come on from the factory? I have read disc-o and it didn't mention that I saw. THANKS!

I ended up using a hose off of a 1980 dodge full size ram van, I think, on my car using the stock 1973 and up A body front disce brakes

I'd either make one with stainless telflon lined hose and steel fittings, or have one made at a hydralic hose place. Lot's easier than trial and error if no one has a definate answer for ya.

Those factory banjo's dont work. When you turn the wheel the bolt will bind on the upper control arm nut. I have a 90º fitting on mine with a stainless braided teflon hose that goes straight to the adapter on the fenderwell.

The problem I found with the factory style hoses...one word.

On my 69 Coronet with early pin calipers ,71 to 74 E/B body only ,I found the 74 Charger style front brake hose to work the best ,however the 74 up pin style caliper will not work no matter what you do because of the way its cast will hit lower control arm.
