busboy OP mopar B Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 670 Third rock from the sun.	14" factory steel rims, I replaced the 9" front drums on the Dart with a stock KH disc setup. Now the rims clamp down on the caliper. Is there a different back space for disc equipped cars?? Oh yeah, it's a hybrid.....it burns gas and tires!

TC@HP2 master T Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 5,394 Pikes Peak Country	Like Tim said, disc brakes use an entirely different wheel. Drum brake wheels tend to be more flat on the backside. Disc brake wheels have a bulge in them to clear the calipers. Both can have the identical backspace. Backspace is not the issue. If you want to stick with 14" wheels, look for something off a Aspen/Volare in 14". Once you get them side by side to your drum wheels, you'll see the obvious difference. Mnay poeple forget that back in the day, there was a difference in disc brake and drum brake wheels.
