Anyone have a clear pick of an installed 73-76 A-body centerlink? Is it possible to install these backwards(i.e. pitman arm were idler arm should go through and vice-versa)? Everything looks right after install and there are no clearance issues but I just want to be sure. This is why I hate letting things sit forever cause then I forget. I can blame my wife for that one though. Thanks!

I don't think you can install it wrong, but I have known to be wrong in the past.

I'm not sure if the drop is offset , meaning if you put it on one way the offset is the the rear and the other way toward the front . If this is the case install it with the offset to the rear.

Drop looks equal side to side. The ends are slightly angled which offsets the centerlink to the rear as said so it looks like its in the rightway.

The center link in my '73 Charger has the word "GEAR" stamped on the pitman arm side. As said before, any offset should point to the rear to give max clearance for your pan.

I might look at what orientation would give the least radical of an angle on the pitman/idler arm/tie rods.
