the book for my 2001 ram says to use sealant on the center exhaust bolts on a 5.2L

these go into the water jacket I presume

do you all routinely do this and what kind of sealer do you recommend?

i just put on pacesetter headers and repaired the intake plenum

it is sad how much DIRT the factory air box let in to this motor... it seals very poorly around the throttle body.

i also added an aFe intake made in corona, ca... a very nice piece.

I use permatex high temperature thread sealant.
