i'm putting together a magnum 360 motor with the hydraulic roller cam. the lifters have a feed hole on one side. does it matter which direction it's positioned? oil hole on the cam side or the cylinder side? thanks for the help.

Maybe the oil hole should go into the oil galley, if it(link bars) will work with it that way

The holes need to point up...Towards the valley, or cam.

Seems to me I remember Mopar saying put the oil hole up towards the cam. When we replaced cams at the dealer I remember a paper coming with the lifters saying that. Ron

Interesting info here. I've built 50+ magnums with the lifter oil holes down (hole towards pistons). I've never had an issue.

Just copy this from the service book.

3.Install tappets and push rods in their original positions. Ensure that the oil feed hole in the side of the tappet body faces up (away from the crankshaft)

They come from the factory with paint marks on them. so you could see it as you put them in that the paint mark was up.
