I used the FelPros a few years ago on my kids SB.No problems. For the ends a good thick bead of silicone and toss the rubbers. No sealer needed anywhere else.Rocky

Thanks for the reply. Anyone have any recommendations for a specific brand of silicone to use in place of the end gaskets? Don't want to use something that ends up leaking.

any on hand will work but the clear makes for a neater app. A wide thick carefully placed swath. Let it sit up overnight after torquing the side gaskets. EDIT make sure the surfaces are squeaky clean w brake kleen or starting fluid

Never use starting fluid for a cleaner. All it takes is a spark and POOF.Brake clean is cheap.Rocky

I extinquish all smoking materials, open the doors & dont create any sparks for the several minutes it takes it to flash off. It's a risk but it works so well & I feel lucky
