My truck is a 96' Dodge Dakota 3.9L 2WD. The truck will start up but won't idle or run unless I hold the gas pedal down.

So far, I have already replaced the IAC (idle air control valve) and the battery is really weak so I have that on a charger.

Any idea as to what else it may be? It's not sputtering or anything when I hit the gas, it just won't idle. Not sure if its the tps or something else.

TPS is cheap and easy to replace. I'd give it a shot.

Put a new battery in and your problems will likely be solved. The low battery voltage is wacking out the PCMs learned adaptives to control the engine idle. Clean the throttle butterflies also.
