I heard about an abandoned project today. It is a drag tube chassis. I have not seen it yet, so don`t have much info on it. The cell phone pic I saw makes me think it has some promise. Full cage, very braced up,X bar on pass ide, swing out on driver side. Appears to have had some a arm,not strut, front end. No rear suspension visible. Assuming it has enough length to go under a B body, what other considerations are there to think about ? I have never bought anything like this before,so am asking for suggestions on things to check out. It was certified for 8.50 prior to some rules change in 08 or 09 according to seller. Anyway to verify this ? Hopefully it has some ID on it somewhere. Anybody own one of the Jegsters ? His dad bought it as a roller & removed front & rear suspensions for some other project. He gave frame to kid. Kid wants to sell. My car is too far gone to be a restmod, let alone a resto,so it ain`t like I`d be cutting up a nice car to install this thing. Opinions ? And thanx to all replies. Don.

Lots of measurements... make sure the front suspension
will line up in your wells, measure the width and
height... back in the 09 area they did make some
cert changes... mine was certed to 7.50 then when
the change came mine would only cert to 8.50 unless
I wanted to add a couple of gussets and a couple of bars

I would think that if that chassis was not built specifically to fit a Mopar B-body, the chances that it would work out for you are pretty slim. Do you know what the chassis was built to fit?

most of all you need to check for wall thickness mild steel or chrome moly. quicker then 10's would need to sonic check

all parts are sold as is, all parts are considered used no warranties or returns
paypal/check/money order, shipping is from zip 02891, buyer pays paypal fees 24% IRS 1099A plus 3% of part price, check/money order preferred
site is not monitored 24/7 there might be a delay in response

Well, that`s the $64000 question. The owner doesn`t know for sure. It has a 109-110 wheelbase.Definitely not a backyard deal. No markings anywhere, but looks like one of the C.E. or even a Jegster chassis. Kid said it had ladders out back, and tubular a arms in the front. Trying to track down guy who stripped front end to look it over. Looks like it was a Mustang II style.Having a friend look it over tomorrow. He`s built a few kits & may know more. Anybody own a Competition Engineering set up ? Or an older Jegster ? Chime in if you have info. Thanx,Don.
