New tire and wheel combo: Also disc brake conversion on front, now he needs to weld in the Global West frame connectors, put in the 3/8 fuel p/u and 3/8 main body fuel line, and bolt on the new HD leafs and 3.54 Dana in place of the 2.76 8 3/4.

Use the Mono leafs from Calvert racing. You will like them a lot over other after market leafs.

View from the carport this afternoon...I'm still removing items..need to be going back the other direction.
Wes, Nitrous on a street car is like big hooters, may not be using it all the time, but I 'preciate 'em being there just the same!!

They will handle the weight, but they will be uneven and become more so after some hard hits at the track....My car weighs 3250 with a Hemi and hasn't had an issue yet with them....

Same here lol
Still taking it apart!! Rear end is out and laying on the ground..cleaning everything, checking the rod ends, and new QA1 double adjustables are on the way with stronger springs than last year. Hopefully, the bottoming out on every crack in the road will be taken care of. Trying to remove the front end to install new K-member, but it is kicking my tail!! It's only been under there for 50 years, and it's not going without a fight. Tomorrow I'll bring home a bigger hammer..and an impact!
Boone on the truck, he just got around to pulling the parts he needs off the donor truck, and bringing the heads home from the machine shop...it's not looking good.
Dale reports that Darren's Charger, "Looks like it's been worked on for about 35 minutes since I was over there the last time".
Dale has been "Testing" the Belvedere for me...(read, racing it at Mopar events because all his stuff is apart.)
So yeah, we still have only 1 of 5 entries running and I'm really getting worried!

Thats why I didnt register for this year.. I wasnt sure if I would be ready in time with some testing on it... no way would I travel that far without any testing... I put my engine and trans in yesterday for the final time(hopefully) and got about 90% of the wiring done so I expect to be up and running under its own power within 2 weeks... got my fuel system and brakes done the other day.... its getting there.... good luck Billy

sixpackgut, The Valiant and Belvedere went last year, the Satellite has been traded away for another race car.
As crazy as it sounds, even though I have the Valiant further apart than ever before, I'm confident that it will come together quickly.

The used CAP K-member I purchased from a board member who will remain nameless (Thanks Cab Burge, it arrived safely in it's bubble wrap cocoon) is without instructions and hardware and I'm trying to figure out what type of long bolts are used to secure the front tubes to the frame??

Talked to Dale this weekend, and the gathering of parts he had to throw a Drag Week engine together turned out to have some interesting issues, so he headed over to Wade Metzinger's to purchase a used shortblock. Desparation is setting in as we get into only double digits of days left! The Gremlin is calmly waiting for attention...
