Hi, I was wondering if you all could help me with a dash question. I am about to replace my dashpad on a 71 Cuda. I am unsure if I am missing something or not. The attached picture is through my windshield at the dash (yes, a new dash if definitely in order!). Should I have any vents or trim in the defroster holes, or is it like it is supposed to be. Never really noticed until I started looking closely if you know what I mean. Please send me pictures of yours if you have the time. Thanks, Tim

Nope nothing goes over the defroster vents.

Wow, Challenger1, looks very nice. Did you re-install all as one piece like it is on the stand, radio and all? The pics will help a lot. Thanks.

One more question. Where did you buy your from?

Went with Ultimate Rides pad through Roseville yesterday. Should have it by end of week. Experiences? Tips?

I installed an Ultimate Rides dash pad about a year ago in my 70 Challenger. This was the first/only pad I've installed so far.

I'm very happy with it, it looks real good. I had to do alot of clean-up and trimming to get things like the light bar and speaker fitted.
Not a big deal, just took some time and patience.

The fit is not perfect where it meets the metal dash, like at the glove box and on the sides that you see when you open the doors.
But it's the kinda thing only I see since I installed it.
