I've seen a post about this before but can't find it. Where can I get the woven wrap that encapsulates the tail light wire harness for my 66 dart. I think it was used through the 70"s ? An old friend of mine used to work in a electrical componant plant, (electrical slip rings for cranes) and they had a machine that wove it around their harnesses. I know others need this stuff.... What is everyone doing to get it or duplicate it ????? Thanks all !

Restoration Speacialties sells it. You can buy it by the foot. I bought about 7 feet of it about 9 years ago. I have not put it on yet.

I don't see how you are going to get the same look and feel with a tube type loom. If there was some way of installing the wires in the loom and then heat shrink it around the wires, you might have a shot.

I just posted a working link to ademons' post.
I was going to rebuild my original harnesses and decided, for safety, to purchase new harnesses from Year One.
Because the sleeving is woven around the wires rather than the wires pushed through a sleeve, I don't think you will be happy with the end results.

Example:
You have one beautiful woman dressed in a muumuu and one wearing a painted on latex dress. They are both covered and protected from the elements, but which one would you take home?
