I'm gonna sell ALL my big block Mopar stuff. I am going to use a 5.9l engine set up in the new 'Cuda. Soo, I guess when the Scout is done, I'll be on the hunt for a '94-'01 Ram or Ram van with a 5.9l auto set up. That way I'll have all the wiring and parts needed..Its my FINAL decision..lol.. I have changed color plans too. Instead of dark dark purple, I am now leaning towards Ashen Grey metallic from a 2012 Crapmaro along with flat black hockey stick stripes..Maybe {as big as} a 325/50/15 rear tire..sub frame connectors, no interior cage {that can be seen anyways}, dual bulge hood, front and rear disc brakes, etc etc etc.. I'm getting more and more ideas to come up with a completed project. I'll soon be making out a list and keeping to it {I usually do}.. If ya start straying from a build mid project, it's gonna get waaaay more costly.. I'm narrowing down my plans.. I CAN'T WAIT to get to work on this thing. I'll be ordering floor pans, trunk floor and possibly the sub frame connectors next month...I have the B-body rear with 4.10's right now. I may change those out for a set of 3.23's.. not sure. I have a person interested in my sb Ford engine parts pile, so that'll be a good start on cashflow. Sell parts to get parts. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http:/...wAQ&dur=798http://www.marketworks.com/fullView.asp?sf...81/ho10-704.jpghttps://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/upload...%28Large%29.JPG

They worked when I posted .. Oh well. They were pics of the hood, a pic of the 2012 Crapmero and a pic of a board members {jbc426} rear tire on his Cuda..Not sure why they aren't working now.. I "researched" doing a 5.7 or 6.1 install. For the extra money I'd need, all the other time and possible headaches and additional fab work, I figured I could get the 5.9 installed quicker, cheaper and easier.. And it'll still perform they way I hope it too. I learned ALOT when I "built" my other '70 12-14 years ago. It was '98 when I bought that one. The basic work hasn't changed any, but the ideas and parts availability are near endless. Which is why I say I can't wait to get to work on it.. The Cyber grey came out 1st.. The new Ashen grey is a little darker.. I like that MUCH more.

I talked myself out of the 5.7/6.1 swap pretty easily.. If you guys can convince me that the cost and labor would be the same as a 5.9 swap, then I'd be more willing to look into it a little more.. But the additional fab work with the mounts and clearances, etc, it seemed like more than I want to deal with this time around. Plus the cost and having the wiring to make work, I think I'd rather pass..I'm okay with saying "No, it's NOT a HEMI"..

Found a '98 4wd Ram that was in an accident.. 160,xxx miles on it,stick trans, no a/c and has good parts. $400.. Probably pick it up next weekend. The guy was t-boned on the driver side and was pushed {as he was turning}into a fire hydrant.. Not much damage. Its all sheet metal but the body has the typical NY cancer. I'm gonna strip it all down and probably part out what I can from it. Its a 5.2l. The guy just did a tune up on it with new valve cover gaskets.. This was about 8-9 months ago.I'm planning on pulling the motor, ALL the wiring, possibly the instrument cluster and whatever else I think I can use. Don't really want the trans. Is the rear end too wide for an Ebody?
