In the process of building a stock stroke 340 with 500+ HP, I've been looking at the mopar race manifolds but never hear anything about them. Looks like they have a 2800-7500 rpm & 3600-8500 rpm. Also open for suggestions on other good intake manifolds.

I really liked the M1 that I had on my previous motor, did me a fine job and really woke the old 366 up.

I have an Eddy Victor and it works well, I hear the Super Victor is good as well. The INDY single plane is good for super HP builds when modified for a dominator.

If you are using stock port style heads the Weiand 7545 is hard to beat. On my W2 motor the Victor W2 was just as fast as the Indy.

Other than a sheet metal intake, the M1 is the best. The super victor requires high rpm from launch the the stripe to prduct the velocity to mix the fuel in the chambers. Just make sure the intake is matched to the heads, especially the roof. You will be surprised how much more response HP & TQ you will get.

I ran a Victor on my J head motor before its demise and a Victor in my current W2 motor on a Dyno it was 10-15 hp better than a Strip Dominator.

I use the Victor 340 on my stock stroke 340s,
with different levels of modification.

The Weiand 7545 is a single plane? right?

What are the best intake choices for 410 cid 7k rpm @ 325 cfm with a 4150 flange and a 3in intake port?

All I can say is I had a weiand 7545 single plane, came on my first car in 1976. Used that intake until 2003 when I thought I could find something better. Tried RPM duel plane, hated it, then a M1 manifold, it it was better. Still not as good as the wieand that I sold on Ebay. Dumb move.
Then tried a Victor340 which is close to what the old weiand was. Been running it now since around 2006.
That old manifold didn't look like much, but did work on the street. Wish I never sold it.

I would say max ported Indy intake or step up and lets put ported w8 "598" intake on it.

I had a Weiand X-Celerator (7545) on my 340 and it worked great, IMHO it's not enough intake for the bigger stroker motors. I put a Edelbrock Victor 340 on my pump gas 408, it pulls hard everywhere.

I'm still waiting for someone to make a composite intake for the SB Mopar. The Chevy guys get all the good stuff.

Yeah, it's got a smallblock.

This is for a 2.5 tall x 1.20 wide port and they took it all from the top of the port, I think it is a old arrow deal. looks like the 598 or Indy favor a squarer shaped port.
