The black one sounded good, it had a nice chirpy nitrous motor sound. I never really paid attention to what it ran since my buddy I was there helping was in leaf spring also. I just know we were #2 qualifier, I never even looked at the ladder.
One day I will have something cool here.

i would have thought the black one was a turbo car by the exhaust pipe sticking out through the front fender. both of those cars are some bad-azz looking Darts

Here's a motor shot of the black car off the bullet and here's what he said about it; Mustang II front suspension, 9" Ford Fab 9 housing in rear, Assassin bars, Calvert Springs, Afco double adjustable shocks. 540" Mopar, Indy Maxx Block, B1 heads, PG trans, It has 2 foggers on it. Rear wheels are 12" with 275/60 Drag Radials. This weekend was the very first passes since all of the changes/upgrades. I think she'll run after a little more testing/tweaking. Only sprayed 1 kit this weekend. It ran 5.32 at 134 with a 1.32 sixty foot. Had the progressive stretched out 2.5 seconds. It weighs 3350 with my 225lb self in it. Here is a pic of the engine bay...(it served well as a picnic table during all of the rain Sunday morning. LOL)
