hey guy's doing up a 74 charger se, motor was gone when i got it so one of my 360's is going in. also put a 71 super bee hood on so what is the engine callout that makes the most sense? 360 4 barrel? or is that a plymouth thing? i can't remember. obviously the car is not a #'s deal but i want to keep it all dodge if i can. thanks

The 73-74 B bodies used tape hood number call outs. Years ago I put 360 4 barrel emblems from the e-bodies on my Runner and it just didn't look right in my opinion. Too small. Perhaps it would look better on the charger bulge hood as it is not as tall as the Road Runner hood scoop.

with the 71 super bee hood i have an insert that used to have 383 magnum on it so i have to put somthing back. tape is not going to do it.

I suppose you could use the 340 Magnum emblems like the one in the attached pic. There is a guy on the board that will make emblems. I don't remember his name, but he does emblems for those who want stroker call outs.

the 340 magnum callout would be the easiest fit but it will bug me that i have a 360 in there vand it's a 74 so it really does not fit. the guy who makes custom callouts sounds good does anyone know who he is?

I put aspen r/t callouts on my 70 coronet scoops that say 360 4 barrel.

You really worried if it is a Plymouth or Dodge thing?

My '74 Charger is all factory with E58 code 360, and the hood call-out on the power bulge hood only states MAGNUM. No more, no less.

so, "74 charger" your car say's "magnum" only? that is an original car? good to know. do you have a pic of that? cheers

If the 360 has been bored and stroked..maybe it is a 383..
With the Magnum heads you can get away with the 383 MAGNUM callouts,LOL!!

If the bulge on the hood is going to be black,you can touch up where the badges are hacked and use double sided 3M trim tape.
Call it done like a TV dinner in the microwave.

On previous years, MAGNUM was used on 318 cars. I'm pretty sure I saw 360 magnum callouts because I wrote down the part number 3691667, which is still a good part number. I too like the 360 four barrel callouts but fully understand the dodge /plymouth thing. I figure by the time I cam and update the heads and compression, I will have the Magnum status anyways.
