What are you guys running with the 02/03 superstock Springs. any and all comments welcome and maybe throw in why you run them over something else.

Thanks

I am running ss springs with Rancho 9000 shocks. I was told to use those since my car is a street driver.

Rancho here also.I used standard station wagon shocks for years, but the Rancho's work better with their adjustability.

Usually need 25" (C-body) shock to prevent "topping out".

Thats all I am using. SS springs with C-body shocks and no pinion snubber. Hooks pretty good on 9" radial slicks with a best 60 of 1.50 for my 3700 lb 63 at 10.76. Ron

Some people have said the ss springs are so stiff that the ride is really rough and that they sit up a lot higher than the heavy duty ones so they really aren't for street cars. I only have a couple weeks to decide so figured someone here would know:)

I've had SS springs on my Duster for years and I've driven it for hours at a time. No problems at all. As mentioned, you need longer shocks...I'm using Monroes that fit a D-150 truck.

just got off the phone with calvert. there suggestion is to run the CR-22150 with a colapsed eye to eye dim of 15" and a extended of 24" eye to eye. For these to work he wants to make sure that the car sitting at ride height the eye to eye dim is between 171/2 and 20 inches. I am going to be ordering them shortly after I Measure up. he also mentioned to me that a good starting point is on #7. they are so awesome to talk to

I just got some 3400 pound SS springs for my 3600 pound '67 Satellite. The ride is not rough at all to me driving around on the street and it didn't hike the back end up either. Glad I didn't take heed of all the horror stories on the net about SS springs. I'm running cheapo Monroe-matic shocks meant for a Dodge D150 pickup for my long shocks.

Gus, I'm in the market for some rear shocks to try out. I'd like to try out a set of those Xl's and see what happens.
I gather these are adjustable as you said that they're on #6 setting.
