gogo318 OP member G Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 106 waco tx	today i began stripping down my old virgin motor to swap over to a donor 318 untill i can afford to have my orignal rebuilt when i poped off the factory exaust manifolds i noticed there were no gaskets!!! when the engine ran it had no exhaust leaks is this how they were back then? it blew my mind lol should i use exhaust gaskets with these manifolds when i bolt them to an 87 set of heads? i have never seen gaskets not used on manifolds but if its not broke i wont fix it any one ever seen such a thing 67 charger fastback 318 stock 67 belvedere II 4dr soft top built 318 68 newport 2dr hard top 318 84 b150 440/727 84 d150 short wheel step side 4x4 lifted 87 omnitruck (you just have to see it ) new addition 63 dart wagon !!!

JohnRR I Win Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 75,015 U.S.S.A.	No gaskets from the factory because you were dealing with bacisally virgin machined surfaces . 40 plus years later, use them if you got them.
