Once upon a time I thought I had gotten numbers on the 74's . . . was something like 3,000 made with 360 & sunroof ??? But who knows . . . My car is FE5 Rallye Red, V21 Hood black out treatment, sunroof, fold down rear seat, console auto with buckets . . . have only seen 4 other Dusters with the hood treatment . . . never say never with Mopar !!! MY340 master M Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 5,270 Missouri	I think you can use the 2% option rule on 1973 A-body 340 sunroof cars and come pretty close to how many were produced. Most people never knew they made them when I had mine at car cruises and shows. They thought I added it. Post the fender tag if you don't mind as I'm curious about other options on the car. Mine had sunroof/fold down rear seat/4-spd/manual steering & am/fm radio among the options. 1970 FE5 Duster 360/904/3.91's SOLD 1973 TB3 SpaceDuster 340/4spd/4.10's SOLD Moparless for now but when the opportunity is right I'll have another one.

My bro in law had a 73 Dart Sport with one as well. BOTH were 318 cars. My guess is that this car in question is certainly desireable enough to warrant a decent restoration. Have fun with it!

I have a 73 Dart Sport 340 4 speed sunroof car that I bought in '87/88. It was pretty rough considering it really wasn't THAT old at the time. It took several years (back then) for me to find a nice used one in a junkyard. I'll bet you'd never find a nice used one today, so that reproduction has to be far better than nothing at all.

The cardboard headliner was way too warped to leave in place, and it cracked apart during removal. I had to install the replacement, scribe around the opening then remove it to cut out the hole. I used the cutout for the sunroof plug and held it in place with plastic button fasteners. The car wasn't a 100 point restoration, so the deviation from stock wasn't a big deal.
